Spotlight on Dinner Program for Homeless Women
For 20 years, the Dinner Program for Homeless Women (DPHW) has offered services to homeless and poor men, women, and children. In 2006, DPHW received a $30,000 grant from The William S. Abell Foundation to provide hot, nutritious meals to homeless men, women and children in Downtown Washington, D.C.
Currently, DPHW serves more than 350 people daily through their Daily Bread/Daily Needs program to help them meet their immediate needs for survival and individualized, comprehensive sesrvices to help them end homelessness. Visit their website
